Getting started

Is BabyTrack free?

Yes. Every kind of entry is free to log, as often as you like: feeds, sleep, nappies, weight, height, tummy time, food, medication, vaccinations and baths.

BabyTrack Plus is optional. It adds charts, trends, family sharing, PDF summaries, and Siri and widget support. Compare free and Plus.

Which devices does BabyTrack work on?

iPhone and iPad with iOS 26 or iPadOS 26 or later. There's no Android, Mac or Apple Watch version.

Can I track more than one baby?

Yes, as many as you like, for free. Tap your baby's photo at the top of the Overview to add another baby or switch between them.

Does a timer keep running if I leave the app?

Yes. A running timer shows on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. From there you can pause and resume it, then save the entry or discard it.

Can I add an entry by describing it?

On devices with Apple Intelligence turned on, choose Create with Apple Intelligence when you add an entry, then describe it, for example "breastfed 15 minutes on the left". BabyTrack fills in the form for you to check and save. It runs on your device and is free.

Can I use pounds, ounces and inches?

Yes. Tap the ••• button at the top of the Overview, then Settings. There you can choose kg or lb, cm or inches, and ml, fl oz or US fl oz. Each can also follow your device's settings.

Which languages is BabyTrack in?

English, German, Spanish, French and Italian.

BabyTrack Plus

What does BabyTrack Plus add?
  • Growth charts, with percentiles from the WHO growth standards
  • Sleep by night, and feeding and tummy time totals against your 7-day average
  • Family sharing, so a partner or nanny sees the same log
  • Siri, Shortcuts and a Lock Screen widget
  • A PDF summary of growth, feeding and sleep for appointments
How much does Plus cost?

You can pay monthly, yearly, or once for a lifetime purchase. Prices vary by country, so the app shows yours before you buy, along with any free trial you're eligible for.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Apple manages the subscription. In BabyTrack, go to Settings and tap Manage Subscription. You can also open the Settings app, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions.

Your entries stay in BabyTrack after Plus ends, and you can keep logging for free.

I've bought Plus. How do I get it on another device?

Sign in with the same Apple Account, open any Plus feature, such as a growth chart, and tap Restore at the bottom of the BabyTrack Plus screen.

Does my partner need Plus too?

Not to see the log. Only the person who starts sharing needs Plus. Anyone they invite needs Plus on their own Apple Account to see the charts and other Plus features.

Sharing and sync

How do I share with my partner or family?

Sharing needs BabyTrack Plus.

  1. Tap the photo at the top of the Overview and pick the baby you want to share.
  2. Tap the ••• button next to the photo, then tap Share.
  3. Choose how to send the invitation, such as Messages or Mail.

Once they accept, both of you see the same log as it's updated. They'll need BabyTrack installed and to be signed in to iCloud.

Does BabyTrack sync between my iPhone and iPad?

Yes, for free. Sign in to the same iCloud account on both devices and your log stays the same on each.

Do I need to create an account?

No. BabyTrack uses the iCloud account that's already on your device, so there's nothing to sign up for.

What happens to my log when I get a new iPhone?

Your log is kept in your iCloud account. Install BabyTrack on the new iPhone, signed in to the same account, and your babies and entries come back.

Privacy and your data

Where is my data stored?

On your devices and in your own iCloud account. It isn't stored on BabyTrack's servers, and the developer can't see it.

What does BabyTrack collect?

Anonymous usage statistics, crash reports, and the purchase records needed for Plus. There are no ads. The privacy policy names each service and what it receives.

Can I export my data?

Yes, for free. In Settings, tap Export Data. You can save CSV files for Numbers, Excel or Google Sheets, or a single JSON file, and choose which babies and kinds of entry to include.

With Plus you can also make a PDF summary to take to an appointment.

How do I delete my data?

In Settings, tap Delete all data. This removes every baby and entry, and because your log syncs through iCloud, it's removed from your other devices too.

Deleting the app on its own doesn't remove the copy in iCloud.

Is BabyTrack medical advice?

No. BabyTrack is a record of what you've logged, and the growth charts use the WHO Child Growth Standards for reference only. If you're worried about your baby, talk to your doctor, midwife or health visitor.

Help

Something isn't working. What should I do?

How do I suggest a feature?

In the app, go to Settings and tap Feature Requests. You can also vote for ideas other parents have posted.

Is there an Android version?

No. BabyTrack is only for iPhone and iPad.
